Using Augmented Reality with G&T Students to Create Place-Based Learning Experiences

Augmented reality and virtual reality are becoming increasingly more popular with High Ability/High Potential Learners. In the past year, there have been several different companies that are exploring how to use AR to create place-based experiences. This session will explore a new application called Metaverse. We will use this app to create a simple place-based augmented reality game you can use the same day. Go to the next level by having your G&T students explore the creative side of the Metaverse app. By using many of the “custom” blocks students will be designing their own AR-based experiences.
