For any educator, a stable, predictable expressive, caring environment makes for a firm foundation on which to teach anything else. Some concepts from the vast fields of yoga, meditation and mindfulness can offer simple, non-dogmatic tools for educators and students alike to feel more engaged, calm, present and authentic to the experience at hand.
